This robot doesn't have the same number of features as some of the more expensive ones we've tested, but it does cover the basics. It has a big enough dust bin to hold plenty of dirt before it's time to empty it and its vacuum and mop system is perfect for carpets with low pile and hard floors. It is also very quiet. We were able to watch TV while it cleaned without feeling as though we were being constantly bombarded by the sound.
Our test participants were extremely pleased by how easy the machine was to use and set up. They also appreciated the ability to clean all the messes that had accumulated on their floors. It was effective in cleaning pet hair, messes, and carpeting however it was a bit more difficult at eliminating stubborn stains. The app was easy to use and easy to understand. They were able set up the vacuum to clean regularly to cut down on manual work. The one downside is that it doesn't include any mapping technology or object avoidance, so you can't direct it to specific rooms or follow virtual boundaries (though magnetic boundary strips are compatible).

It's also super quiet and has a huge dust bin that holds lots of debris before it's time to empty it, so you don't have to be concerned about having to empty it every time you use it.
Although the V3S Pro didn't earn a spot in any of our top choices compilations from trusted sources that perform tests with hands-on, it got high marks from reviewers from Modern Castle, Smart Robot Reviews, and The Ambient.
